When buying a
home, you never know what you're getting until you get that inspection
done. The heating system must be inspected
by the professionals in order to determine if it's safe to move
in. Why breath in other people's dirt? Have your ducts
cleaned before setting foot into your new home. Is the furnace
an old "clunker"? If yes, then replace
it with a new high-efficiency gas furnace.
The gas furnace is the only household device
that can kill you five ways: It can poison the air you breath (carbon
monoxide poisoning), it can set fire to your house (improper venting),
it can electrocute you (improper wiring), it can give you fatal
lung disease (mold from air conditioning coil or humidifier), and
it can cause your house to explode (gas leak).
FFD Plus™ service is
a furnace inspection plus
a whole lot more:

when they operate as they were designed to. The technician will

for improper installation and leaks. Our technician will test
your primary heat exchanger 3 ways: visual inspection, flame test,
and the most important: Co (Carbon Monoxide) level measurement.
Detailed Confidential

detailing condition of the equipment, and the costs (if any) to
repair the equipment. Along with this report, will be a detailed

How
important is it to have the furnace inspected? Having
a furnace inspected by acertified
technicianis the single-most
important act a buyercan do. The ramifications of not having
a certified technician inspect your furnace can be catastrophic.
Consider the plight of a Stearn County, Minnesota family: they purchased
a house with a defective furnace.Two
of their children diedas a result of carbon
monoxide poisoning. A hole/crack
in the furnace's heat exchanger was deemed to be the most-likely
cause (the defense attorneys had argued that the source of carbon
monoxide was from a fireplace). The home seller, the real estate
agent and the real estate agency paid a total of $1.7
million USD(Court-defined split:
65% real estate agent & agency, 35% home seller).
Had the home buyers purchased the FFD
Plus™
service, their two children would
be alive today, and the sellers would only have be required to pay
a few hundred (instead of hundreds of thousands of) dollars for
repairs or replacement .
